Hi everyone, I'm a long time lurker that has been impressed with all your work over the years. The new codex has pushed me over the edge and i've decided to come out of the shadows.

Still not sure why WS doesn't allow embedded pics, but heres some links to my Nids.

Great looking army, dude. I especially like the tervigon. The bulging sacs are perfect. That said, I feel like they could benefit from a some more yellow or orange ink washing and maybe a gloss coat to make them slimy.
As a whole the army looks fantastic. Primer armies will be shamed!

Hello Sheep welcome to Warpshadow.

Fantastic paint jobs, and I love how you used Crushing Claws on the legs of your Flyrant. I've never seen that done before. Is there another claw going the opposite way on the back?

Also with your Tervigon, don't forget there is a contest going on where you can win a brand new Trygon kit.

OOo Oooo *pops the gaunts out of the egg sacks like a pimple*

Loving all these awesome tervigon conversions popping up all over the place.

Thanks guys :D

Really glad the hive mind likes them.

Hive node: There is another claw on the other side, but its not another crushing claw, its just a stubby claw, when i made this guy carnis were still good and i couldn't justify losing 2 sets of crushing claws.
And thanks for the heads up on the comp, i sent you a PM.

Krewl raiN: They actually come out of here:

Looks pretty gruesome. Many jokes to be made but not here. However, it does remind me of a movie. Looks nasty as heck.

More "nasty" birthing ducts, not a bad thing of course! The more grossed out our opponents are, the more tactical mistakes they shall make!

Welcome to Warpshadow Sheep. :D

I think you have a very nice army there mate. I'm not entirely sold on the bulging yellow sacs - they look to fragile and pustular to me. But that said, the painting is still top notch and I love the veins on the sacs. They are beautifully done.

Hey sheep, nice looking Nids, the tervigon is really nice, tho I'd have to agree to some extent on the veins on the bulbous sacks on his back, they could be a bit paler. It's nice to see the GW official themes painted nicely, great job. :)

Cheers

Thankyou all very much :) Glad the Tervigon has been welcomed with such open claws.

I had my first game with the new rules 2 days ago, and i must say i was actually dissappointed, although it was a win the HT and warriors were both lackluster against my opponents TH/SS termis, both units dying in one round of combat.

Hormogaunts, zoans and the biovores were the stars for me

Oh and the tervigon, which produced 43 'gants, in 4 turns before tapping out on a double, they held the objectives and won the day.
