I don't know where to start. Moloch called me this morning and i still can't believe it.

I had the pleasure to meet him in person (and his family) a couple of times and Ross was to me a man of honour.
A little crazy, honest, strong, dedicated and relieable like a rock in the shore, but last and foremost he was a battle-brother.

Warpshadow will not be the same without him.

My heartfelt prayers and wishes go out to his wife and daughter and i hope they will find the strength they need now.

I can't believe he is gone...

Rest in Piece

This is really bugging me... Should we all like sign a card and send it to his family?

I am still fighting to really accept that news.

Ross was the original Ninja. The only guy able to do crazy martial arts antics while armoured up in full battle plate. To make things even shinier he could catch flies with his tongue at the same time.
.
.
Damn. Sorry for that little inside joke. I finally met Ross personally last summer. Together with him, Mr. Pink and Hydra I spent time in his backyard jakuzzi. As usual we took each other for granted and didn`t realise how finite all things in life really are in the end.

Ross, I really wish I could have said Good Bye! to you. With artsy-fartsy guys like Nick, Simon and me you provided the perfect backbone. It`s a clichè, but I only realise how much impact you had now that you are gone.

You will be missed !

A tragic loss for us all, and of course particularly for his family.

RIP Ross - you will be greatly missed.

Truly awful news... There'll be a big void here without him. Wish I could have met Ross last games day... My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Well this is quite a shock...
I've been about nearly 2 years and in that time Ross has been quite possibly the most prominent feature of the who board.

Whenever you logged in and saw replies to the forums you could bet money there would be something from him in there.

We have truely lost one of our greatest Hive Fleets :(

wow... I just got back from a vacation and well, I had really hope this was some kind of awful Aprils fool joke and thought I'd see a post from Ross on the next page... :( I feel very fortunate to have met the man last games day.

Very sad news, and condolences to his wife and child. As with most here, I never got to meet him in person, which makes his loss very strange; it is only at times like this that I appreciate that he was a complete person, outside of his obviously significant time spent keeping us in line.

Requiescat In Pace.

I seriously am having a hard time believing all of this. Ross helped this place stay together, doing all the shitty "back door" data management jobs in regards to the forum and the album. Before the revamp of the site Ross contacted me for assistance regarding certain aspects of the forum software, during some of those conversations I got to know him a bit.

He told me the story of his first car- I believe it was an '88 Roadrunner, and how he drove it into a lamp post.

I just can't believe this. My condolensces go out to his daughter and wife. I would also like to give my condolensces to Nick, Marco and Simon, I know you three really got to know Ross, and this probably is a very heavy load to bear.

You'll be missed Ross.

My thoughts & condolences go to his family, loved ones and friends.

I remember plenty of times here on the forums where although there were differences in what he felt or thought, he used reasonabilty and temperence to bring the situation back toward the middle. It was good to know that Accommodator was around and keeping his patience even when others could not.

Although I have never met Ross in person, I feel as if a friend has passed away. I have PM'd him many times and he was always was in good spirits and very helpful.

Never thought he could fail a save.

My Condolences to his Family. He will be missed.

If you're reading this Accommodator, farewell my friend. May you live forever in WarpShadow.

He posted on the morning of the day of his death, hitting an even 2500 posts on this board... wow.

My condolences and I hope he rests in peace.

yes, and now imagine how high that count would've been if he never diligently deleted old threads that had gone out of use that he had posted in...

Anyway, I've been trying to think of what to write since I saw the news yesterday, but I can't think of anything. The news is too big for me to describe my thoughts and feelings.

I'm truly at a loss of words.
