Hey there Bugbrothers and Sisters!

Some time ago I started a Topic over at Tyranid Hive to get ourselves a nice Tyranid Fanbook. From Bugs - for Bugs! The idea is to get as many fan fiction in one nice book. Problem is I need the writers permission to bundle these stories in a nice free ebook for everyone to download. I am a prof. Designer and used to layouting books, magazine, posters etc. The idea is to produce a high quality book with a nice cover, great typography, layout and texts. Jontlaw from flickr will participate with his awesome battle pictures. (https://www.flickr.com/photos/jontlaw/sets/72157626074300434/)
The Book would be released in two versions:

1) A totally free Ebook for everyone to download
2) A nice hardcover Book like the GW Codices ( Only if we get more than 10 who want one - I would charge production costs only!)

This is completely from fans for fans! I would work completely free of charge since I want to see this thing happen and would do it for me personally anyway :P Anybody contributing to the book would be appearing in the credit section. If you know some well written tyranid stories or fanbased art - feel free to post here. A direct contact to the author or artist would be good so I can check if we is ok with that. If you are have a nice couple of tyranid artworks, sketches, stories etc. Please post here and say you wanna participate :D Would be great to see this thing happen!

Here is my official website to see my refrences: http://simon-elsen.com

we had a great compilation of fan-pieces on this forum. Look at this topic: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=4313
Then, read the stories, and if you like them try and contact the writers via personal message. It's a long shot, but you should really try, there's a bunch of REALLY good stuff in there.
The stuff by sherman bishop got partly rolled into official fluff, which is awesome, and I was always a great fan of Entomologist's tyranid perspective stories.
Give it a go :)

That is a brilliant idea Terrorfex. :D I can't really help, but good luck with it.

so do I. They had great stuff.

But great news you have warpshadow members on board already. This sounds pretty neat!

Oh boy, do I have an offer for you.

Give me a few more weeks to get things together and I'm going to blow your mind, Terrorfex. I don't want to say too much here right now... but I'll be in touch.

Alright, it's the last of the month, I figure I've left you hanging long enough. Terrorfex, please check your inbox. You will be the first person other than myself and my personal friends to lay eyes on a fragment of what I've been working on for the last year. Please keep the details hush hush for now! My hope is that when I have a final version complete, you'd be willing to make some copies in hardcover for myself and anyone else who would like one. I'll have much, much more in a few months.
