It really comes down to the Ultramarines transfer sheet.

It's got rippers! :D I know the Ultramarines would say that this is for their First Tyrannic War veterans. But with deliberately obtuse logic I've decided that since the ripper symbols and termagant head is above the swords this is acknowledgement that even the lowliest tyranid is better than humanity's weapons; and that using this symbol the First Tyrannic War veterans are sharmanically trying to harness the power of the ripper. Makes complete sense to me. :P

Are the Ultramarines Genestealer Cultists? If I recall, their home planet may have become the tomb of their first company as the Tyranids swarmed the polar fortresses, which is also when Imperial biologists discovered that Genestealers were Tyranids...

In the style of the "______ is Illuminati" videos:
Quote:
Before reading this, I advise you to contact an Inquisitor because sh*t is about to get heretical.

Ultramarines.
Ultramarines are blue.
Oceans are blue.
Oceans are the home of sharks.
Sharks.
Sharks are as old as dinosaurs.
Tyranids are space dinosaurs.
Tyranids are controlled by the Hive Mind
Does the Hive Mind control Ultramar? Are the Ultramarines members of a genestealer cult?
Lets Find Out!
The Ultramarines are a space marine chapter from Macragge.
Macragge is located near the Eastern Fringe.
Hive Fleet Behemoth assaulted the Eastern Fringe.
Hive Fleet Behemoth contained genestealers.
Genestealer cults also contain genestealers.
Genestealer cults form when genestealers *do the dance without jeans* humanoids.
Space marines are humanoids.
There are 1,000 space marines in the Ultramarines.
There are more than 1,000,000,000,000,000 Tyranids in a Hive Fleet.
1,000,000,000,000 divided by 1,000 is 1,000,000,000.
The KDR of the Ultramarines on Macragge was about 1,000.
There are 100 space marines in the first company.
The first company of the Ultramarines was forcibly subjected to *do the dance without jeans* by Hive Fleet Behemoth, which contains genestealers which can form genestealer cults.
Genestealer cults are highly secretive and don't want to draw attention.
The Ultramarines are extremely boring and don't ever draw attention.
Now we know why Ultramarines are so vanilla.
