Just to warn the Gestalt before I go to clean things up: I keep getting reports of malware (Mal/Badsrc-M) on the forums here.

So far my work virus/malware software is protecting me from re-direction but it's going off every time. As it is I'll be steering clear for a little while to avoid anything getting past the screen of viru'gants. Hopefully all gets cleared up in the next couple days.

Hm - I haven't been redirected at all and my virusware has been quiet. What browser are you using? I'm using Chrome and no problems.

Thanks for the reports everyone. for reference I'm using Firefox and Avast and have had no problem.

Can you answer these questions:

What pages were you trying to access when you were redirected?
Was the redirection only occuring on Warpshadow?
Was the redirection only occuring through the gallery? The forum? Both?

I'll look into the issue. Meanwhile, I recommened that anyone who has been redirected should run a full virus scan just to be safe.

Thanks.

I was accessing the main Warpshadow forum site, using Firefox, though it also happened once when I accessed the gallery. Most of the time I've been getting the warning, but occasionally it's tried to forward me to a site that I haven't allowed to load before closing my browser. According to the Sophos web site, the virus is malware that affects Windows. It's being saved in the cache.

I'm using a Mac, and since I have my browser set to clear the cache whenever I quit Firefox, the malware is being removed each time. I did run a virus scan earlier today just in case, and didn't encounter any other unexpected guests on my computer...

It happened to me again today, again using IE on my work PC. I was navigating directly to the forum section from outside of WS and the same as what I mentioned in my PM, I was re-directed to one of those bogus web pages that pretends to run a scan on your computer and then it tells you that you are in dire trouble and you need to download some virus scanning software, what HFManticore linked to.

Hive Node - It has only happened to me on WS, and both times in the Forum. And both times when I naviaget away and come back, it hasn't happened again.

It happens often. When I click the forum button on the homepage, and occasionally when I click "view your posts". I use Safari.

It only happens on WS too, all other sites and forums are fine :|

Just happened to me as well. I'm using Fire Fox v3.6.27 for Mac.

Sorry everyone, this is taking longer than we'd like to fix. It is a bit outside my expertise. It might take another couple of days still. :(

Now pornography is appearing when I go onto the homepage and click on the links.
I can pm you the link I get, I copied it quickly. I noticed the site bounced to several different places before reaching the final site.
