I really like this theme personally. I like even better the fact that we have a choice between very different them options for our own veiwing tastes, thanks for the hard work!

Some things I'd like a bit of tweaking on for this theme (black-space, Warpshadow theme):

- WOW the quote box is very very bright green, a bit distracting with that much of the acid green in a block!

- although the nebula background is fantastic looking and I really enjoy the transparency of the page, the white text is a bit lost and a little hard to follow. Hate to suggest a different background image or tuning it out, perhaps subduing it would help or changing the default text color (the high-contrast green seems to work well on the background but woud it be annoying?)

- The ripper logos are a great idea but look a bit skinny/distorted to me.

- the same color page-breaks do have a somewhat odd yellowish appearance due to their thin size, as mentioned before.

- the post activity/status symbols are a bit confusing because they seem somewhat outside the rest of the theme, I could probably get used to them though over time.

Will post more as I find more, or any actuall technical issues.

The only point on which I differ in opinion from Nidhogar, is that I like the white text, and I'd be happy to see more of the yellow/green stuff go white.

i'd rather be back at the old Black & Green.... it made it feel truely alien.
now, it just looks like every other message board.

We are trying. When providing the feedback, please be specific - it really helps. If you have a screen grab of the old layout, that would be great. If not, if you can recall any colorations exactly, that would also be of use. It's all in the details... which we no longer have access to...

Yep I'm finding that also. I'll play with options on my test forum and release a patch to tone it down.

I can lower the transparency level of the post background, effectively making it darker and allowing less of the nebula to show through. This will make the text more readable.

Agreed, I can do better with time.

I'm with you on this one also.

I've had these thoughts when I've restyled other forums that I used to frequent a lot and in time you do get used to them.

Also slightly darkened post backgrounds and fixed the garish quotes.

Also fixed reply page font size box color.

And made it so that posts are easier to tell where one ends and another begins!

I really like the quote boxes in your test forum.
The rippers though... i like the ones we have now better, since you can see what it is ment to be and the new ones are hard to figure out.

Thank you Hybrid, excellent modifications so far. They reall address the preference issues for my tastes well.

the quote boxes in the test forum are awesome!! As are the lines to see where a post ends. this sheme will be awesome when its done!!

One thing which is a little stressing are all the new icons for posts. there are new posts, no new posts, new posts popular, no new posts popular, new posts closed and no new posts closed......do we really need that?? I would vote for simply new posts, no new posts and locked.
Who cares if this thread is popular or not - just click it and decide yourself (b~_^)b

I do not mind the fourms like this at all the only thing killing me is the light green color on grey is hard to read. . . could just be me, the tiny grey in the quote boxes are also hard to see but that is about it! I love the rest!!!

I agree somewhat... I think the bright green, big boxes were too much and what we have now is just a bit too little (can't please everyone all the time & all that I know!).

My vote would be to use the quote boxes as they are now BUT with a slightly larger font size for all the text (quote box + quoted text), not a lot bigger (I enjoy it being smaller than our response but a bit bigger will make it more readable). Oh and the grey or white was much better (IMHO) than the red!

Thanks again to everyone working these details out, you really are doing a great job!
