I'd still like to see you make a whole table made to match your bases, but I know space and time can hamper such efforts.

It sure is a time and space thing. One fine day, when i own a house with a big basement... :D

That is made from a cardboard/foam stuff, that architects use. It is foam in the middle and cardboard on the outsides.
It is easy to cut and when you have your desired pieces you can rip off the card board and you get this nice texture.
In germany it is called "cappaline"...

So, progress!

Very cool.

Do you sit down and plan things out, or do you just pretty much go at it and see what happens?

Also, where do you get your amazingly large PLETHORA of bits from my friend?

This is going to be supercool! Nice idé to rip off the paper off the "cappaline" to get a textured surface!

@ Vonny: Nope, you can simply spray it black. But i would try on a small piece first if you find something the like.

Do you remember, i am working for the big bad company. We have a never ending stream of bitz and pieces... ;)

So. I had a loooong weekend. The two guards, the hive tyrant and the board, wanted to be painted on monday. I was up till 6 in the morning...

Yesterday my hive Tyrant Mario picked it up and i just remembered to take some shots with my mobile camera, so please excuse the rather odd pictures ...

That is looking beautiful Hydra!

(I wish I could make my actual terrain look half as good as your carry tray. :P)

man you work that fast I totally missed that one. XD Awesome work there. I assume the base for the whole thing is a paint station?? Good look overall. Did you made the little posters yourself? I searched some propaganda posters for IG etc in the net and made up an adove indesign data with about 50 posters. If you want some different posters for your bases I could send you the pdf. Took me some time to scale all them down to tabletop size. Right now I am doing some with my own design but If you want the random posters just tell me.

btw there are not only propaganda posters. I found some really cool movie posters of very old crappy movies. Defenetively adds to the style factor (b~_^)b

Very cool! :D

What are the street names? I tried to read the one in the last pic but couldn't make it out. And were there other street posts?
