Well for me it came down to over all astetics. It was a really close call for me Merc's Shrikes where More orginal, But the necks... It's not that there long, but those necks are just not up to snuff with the rest of the covestion, so it went to Krewl, But Both of you deserve praise a healthy dose of praise, good work!

Congrats KrewL!

I found something I really liked about all of the entries in this competition. KrewL, I've traditionally not been a fan of 'over-armed' tyranids. But these look so natural and so 'right' that I have like them. Deejays shrikes are brilliant too. I love those wings and feet. They are awesome. The necks look a little overly awkward to me too. Degraffs feeder tentacle genestealers are made in a way I wish I had made mine. The plastic feeder head is nice, but the variation DeGraff got with the putty ones adds so much more character to the unit.

And those Lovecraftian genestealers by Asplund are beautifully done. Nicely built and painted. But it is just that I never quite got into the Lovecraftian world quite as much.
