After overcoming the boredom which was brought on by painting these wings I have decided to provide this advice. If anyone is thinking of painting a Harridan........DON'T.

This is the progress I have made. I will start the body next week once I have regained any interest I once had in painting anything.

They look beautiful mate. But I can just imagine the energy sapping work it must have taken. :)

Really good looking! But I have the feeling that you are the only one who will be done in time :D
In any case, the harridan is a beautiful model and when you are done painting it, you will have a fantastic model :D

Guys,

Has anyone else finished anything?

When this comp started I was looking forward to seeing everyone else’s stuff (in fact it was one of the reasons why i went through the ordeal of painting that Harridan).

Although this competition does not really exist any more it would still be nice to see other people’s gargantuan stuff.

T-Fex: I know you have finished your Hierophant................post some pictures
Harald: I believe you said you have started yours...............post some work in progress pics
Hydra: Have you started anything?

Anyone else.................post anything

hmmmm, post some wip pic´s or not?
better not, because its still grey resin

i had no motivation to start working on my hierophant...

at the moment i´am working on a hellpitmonster from warhammer skaven.
its quite a cool model and has a funny story how i came to paint it.

as a birthday present i promised a friend to paint a model for his skaven army.
i had a single character modell in mind. but he, typically for a skaven, tricked
me into painting the biggest modell available to the skaven.......
not being a sneaky skaven i stood my man an started painting.

but hey, its a cool model and painting is fun.

harald
