As coral is a living community organism most countries don't allow it to be harvested from their coral reefs. You'll probably have more luck getting faux-coral made from plaster or resin.

Oh, ok. I know i've seen coral at a pet store before, but it must have been synthetic, like you said.

Nice. I like the thrope a lot. The tail looks way cooler than the current model's waggy little one. The big horn is also cool.
The tyrant's wings are also very interesting. I like what you did on the membranes.

I didn't sculpt the wings, they are from this action figure: http://www.spawn.com/toys/product.aspx?product=2020

Excellent work Sara! found something clever to love on all of the models you pictured. I like the extended horns and tails on the 'thropes. I like the use of the warrior barbed strangler on the sniperfex to fix the 'crowd of arms' problem that is common to these creatures. And I like the extra few spiky bits on the tyrant. And I dig the bases on all of them. Top stuff!

I have to retake all my darned photos because I didnt relize the camera picture size settings were too small. But these are ok to show:

The titanic Hive Ship of my Fleet!

Behold the ship flying though warpspace guided by the Norn Queen! This ship has been mistaken for borg vessels but the rectangular shape makes the identification simple.

http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/4256/hiveship1.jpg

Upon discovery of planet dinning room table, the ship makes orbit and prepares to launch the micetic spores onto its surface, ready to attack the biomass!

http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/4751/hiveship2.jpg

The spore containing the metal models if first launched

http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/4015/hiveship3.jpg

The spore containing the carnifex's takes flight

http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/3931/hiveship4.jpg

The 2 spores containing warriors, stealers and gaunts leave the ship, leaving the navigation and information databases exposed!

http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/5862/hiveship5.jpg

The spores land, and open to reveal the horrors within!

http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/5797/hiveship6.jpg

And now close ups of each spore, showing the compartments which keeps the swarm organized.

http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/7547/hiveship7.jpg
http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/6899/hiveship8.jpg

When the queen cannot afford fancy transports, she makes due with what she has and this has been working great so far!

Oh and Mr Beefy says hi:

Back to retaking those pictures :<

 That is brilliant KrewL. It gave me a good laugh this morning. But it is a simple end effective transport solution. Just don't drop it!

As always, phenomenal work! I'm a particular fan of the crusher fex, and the zoanthropes... great conversion work and very catching paint scheme!

Very nice Krewl!

I love your paint scheme and consistency, you have some very creative and well executed conversions and pose changes & even more than anything else...

it seems you really enjoy yourself & the game/hobby you have obviously dedicated time & effort into. A sense of humor goes a long way towards good sportsmanship & you don't seem to lack either.

Keep up the great work & continue to show us your new projects please!

Really cool paintscheme, vibrant yet dark!

And I really like the theme of the horn on the head that goes through the army.
Keep em coming ;)

Lots of brilliant ideas on that Crusherfex! DeviantArt said it was a surprise gift, and I'm very glad you received it. Maybe someday I'll get another Carnifex... I think I only have 5 or 6 now.
