SM:
Command: Commander, Chaplain, Librarian
Troops: Terminator squad, Terminator assault squad
Support: Dreadnought

Ty:
Command: Broodlord
Troops: Genestealers
Support: Lictors


General rules:
one command choice may be taken for each 2 Troops
one Support choice amy be taken for each 4 Troops taken.
coherency is now reduced to 4"

SM rules:
any model may fire instead of moving in the movement phase, at -2BS.
a heavy flamer firing twice may leave the template in place. this blocks line of sight and is dangerous terrain.
librarians may not take fury of the ancients, veil of time or vortex of doom
all characters MUST wear terminator armour, although it is reduced to 10pts.characters may not take command squads, of any kind.
Only terminator assault squads may take furious charge
dreadnoughts may not be made venerable, or have twin linked lascannons.
terminators may not take a land raider transport.
no unit may deep strike in any way.

Ty rules:
the broodlord has no retinue.
all 'nids automatically benefit from a 6+ cover save. (lictors therefore have a 4+ automatically) but do not counts as in cover if charged.
Genestealers may not take scuttlers upgrade.

Why not deepstrike? Terminators have a long history of being teleported into Space Hulks.

really?

i my original SH they all had to enter from one corridor. transported on... O_o;;

maybe they were all teleported onto that one area and i read it wrong. i'll check.

No, in the more modern fluff, terminators are deepstruck as well as entering via boarding torpedo. Would seem like a shame to leave it out. Yes, the idea of 10 terminators appearing and gunning down genestealers like wheat is bad...but imagine the scatter. Tight corridors...lots of terrain...they're gonna take casualties by landing inside walls a lot of the time.

which is why they enter by boarding torpedo. lol.

i guess i could let 'em deepstrike.

any other things anyone thinks need changing?

Let them deepstrike, however roll a die for each guy. On a 1-5, he dies :twisted:

That's why you use the nice, shiny torpedoes kids...

Although I have difficulty imagining that a retooled kamikaze weapon (torpedo) can be made to *safely* transport troops...

Is it still thread necromancy if its pretty high on the first page?
