HI all, well after a 10 year break from 40k I am back and have gone with a GS cult like back in the good old days :) I am using the IG codex as the basis for the time being, if needs be i will switch over to the Nid codex. either way lots of fun converting most of the models .

I am very much WIP at the moment but figured i would stick a pic of two up

So, (hopefully this works) this will be the Magus, the head needs pinning in

one of these will be the head when it arrives:

These Chaos renegade bodies are pretty nice so these guys will be the unit sergeants

I will get some more photos of my flagellant-ghoul hybids when they have more arms

Nice stuff so far Lingula. Oh and welcome to Warpshadow too. :D

Those after market genestealer heads look great, but they are a larger than the plastic ones. It may end up looking a tad over-sized on that body.

Are they really? bugger

well i have a few feeder tentacle heads so could use one of those, though i had planned on using those for the 'commissar' figures, and would prefer something to make stand out. ah well... i guess i could use this chap for now and sort something more impressive for the commander in the future.

I do have this guy:

though was thinking of having as overseer to a psyker battle group at some point - though based up well he could actually do a good job as magus. with the other guy as commissar.

actually - that settles it - the psyker model is a bit more impressive and imposing so he wins (should look peachy hovering over a base of rubble)

looking nice, I am looking forward to what you come up with.

Where's that original sorceror model you had from?

He is one of the finecast warhammer chaos sorcerers. there is another one which i think would fit well within the cult theme as it is also 4 armed and has weird legs:

I will get some more pics up after the weekend of the hybrids i have knocked together and some other bits and pieces.

Nice, I think that is a great use of the plastic chaos sorcerer.
