Hi there,
i´am tinkering on a very special army list, but there is one thing that i´am not sure about.
Before futher planning i need to no if a Sporocyst is able to control an objective?

In 7ed they could, but now?

Thanks
Harald

I’m pretty sure anything but a unit with the flyer battlefield role can control an objective but troops can steal it from you

I believe it can, unless stated in it's specific rules or the mission rules. Usually mission rules mention if it's a model that needs to score - in which case the Sporocyst is a model.

It's worth noting though they might not count regards tabling - insomuch as fortifications need to be 'manned' to count, if every unit dies except for the Fortifcation then you're bust. Their rules may specify otherwise though, I don;t use them so I'm not completely aware of their spcific rules. 'Manning' Fortifications does not seem to confer as a requirement for securing objectives.
