Hi Harry, welcome to Warpshadow. :D

The easy part is the legs and tail. Just cut of the square locator from the legs, and glue them back on (pinning if you are that way inclined) after rotating the hips upward (and the tail down).
The harder part is the head. If you want it rearing back and screaming at the sky, that looks cool on a single model, and requires almost no work. If you want the head facing forward or down that is going to take some hefty conversion work to the neck and/or the torso.

Back in 4th edition there were a run of lovely conversions just like what you want to do. Roughly dating from 2004-2007. If I can remember any I'll link them later.

If you look in my thread linked below I made a running fex in which I had to cut up and repose the legs.
My greenstuff work isn't the best but it might give you some ideas you could use when deciding how you want to do yours.
Unfortunately I don't have WIP pics of the legs as I did them before I joined WS and never thought to take pictures.

It's taken a while but, I promised links.
The carnifex conversions that spring to mind are Mr. Moloch's stompy fex of White Dwarf fame and the brilliant Warpshadow carnifex rebuilds by various talented people for Games Day Toronto. That last one has tonnes of work in progress photos.

And some hive tyrants and other upright creatures using the plastic carnifex body show the task too.
Hydra's brood 3 'machine gun' tyrant (also has lots of WIP photos):

djHg's dakka tyrant:

All of these had converting work done to the neck to get it to fit right. The other popular solution is to turn the torso around. There are stacks of excellent examples around this forum, but Terrorfex's work is the first one to mind:

Easy, simply put the torso on upside down!
