Dying without doing anything is just a case of "new model syndrome" Somtimes I'll play a almost finished model just to get its new model syndrome phase done and over with, so when its all nice and shiny it can kick butt proper xD

Interesting... the new WD will have rules for a new knight character. Just quoting a poster "looks like +1 BS/WS/Inv save, IWND, and run after shooting for +125ish pts"

IWND is defiantly a good trait for a niddy one, and the 3++ makes it have a warp shield like Zoanthropes. Those rules just may of kicked my mojo into Tyranid Knight making mode lol.

She looks beautiful Terrorfex. :D Your blending on the giant sword is very nice, but again it is the details I love most. The blue spot colour in the muzzle of the gun, the lightning effect on the power veins, and in particular, the evil glint in her eyes.

The 'dead earth' that covers most of the base looks good too. How did you achieve it?

And thank you for the bitz offer. All those pieces from Epoch are nice, but I think you'd get better use out of them than I would. (And when Hive Trygon finishes the Trollforged aliens for their kickstarter I'll have a lifetime supply of 'nid pieces! )

Ooo - awesomeness!

I wouldn't like to meet that on a dark knight - I mean, night... :)

I really like how the sword came out.

Now watch out for sister repentia in landraiders!

Thanks - the sword was the easiest part after all - its just airbrush action. Not only watch for repentia ( I guess these are the melt dudes) but watch out for all melts out there. I haven't seen sisters of battle on tournaments for ages - so I guess I won't see that many repentia- but 5 melt dues from the star militarum in chimera are evil, too :P

yeah I guess - played him again yesterday in a sparing tournament match. He hasn't seen CC but worked as a denial and thread unit. Kindof like I played the swarm lord which won me tournaments all over 6th while never ever seeing CC or kill even a single enemy unit xD

I thinks its normal for the first somewhat games :P

Thanks Yale, yeah the blending was achieved by airbrush. The base is done with a stuff called "dead earth paste" I did my whole army with this stuff :P Ok then - if you should need any of the bits I still have just PM me

Just wanted to say, that Colossus is absolutely badass and I hope he reaps much biomass for you! I also applaud your upbeat attitude towards the nids, and their state in the game... very refreshing!

Just wanted to say- love the Colossus! Looks awesome- love the idea of using it as counts as a knight- Adds some extra flavour to Nids without having to bring in any of the "prey" species as allies.
The whole swarm is just amazing- really monstrous and terrifying -really does capture the horror of the Nids right from the conversions to the basing. {I especially love your Deathleaper version- the tendrils are just sick!].
Great inspiration- hope you keep adding to the swarm!

xD Problem is that the forum seems to not allow other pic formats - I posted dozens of pictures uploaded via an external device and they stay for around 1 day until they're broken
